Operating Hours & Times

We operate from Tues – Sat and offer classes on a daily basis. We also run evening classes on a Tuesday each fortnight. Each of our class designs run for one week with a new class of the week beginning each Tuesday. Our classes are approximately 2 hours long and provide step-by-step instruction on how to complete one of our unique page layouts. Colour choice is also provided to assist you if you choose.

Class Structure & Fees

Class fees are $20 and bookings and payment in advance are essential. When you book to come to a class, in addition to the $20 class fee, a base kit will be provided on the day for approximately $25-$30. This kit will include a colour photo copy and sketch of the layout as well as the base materials, such as a title, a flourish, transparency, cardstock and papers. (Packs will be split where possible to keep kit prices to a minimum). Incidentals used to complete the layout are not included such as most rub-ons, corners, page pebbles, ribbon, etc. Please note we are only asking you to buy one base kit per layout design, additional sets of colours can be chosen for you for which you only need to purchase the papers.

Please note that the “class of the week base kits” will not be available prior to their scheduled week. Provided kits are left over at the completion of their week, they will be available after that week while stocks last.

If you attend a specific day each week you may like to secure your place in advance by taking up the option of a Block Booking for the calendar. We will be offering Block Bookings for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Friday and Saturday classes will be booked on a more casual basis as the calendar varies from week to week.

Wednesday Crop Days

Each Wednesday we run a crop day from 9.30am – 2.30pm, cost $20. During the crop there is no specific class taught as this time is more suited to individual layout or project design that may not suit the classes on offer that week.

The Crop is ideal if you would also like to do any of the following:

• 21st Albums, Family heritage albums, frames or gift ideas etc.
• Finishing off layout
• Work on your own page designs
• If you would like to complete the layout of the week you may do this by simply purchasing the base kit for that layout.
• If you would like to do a Take Away Kit, you may select any current Take Away Kit available and complete this. In this instance the $20 Crop Fee is waved and replaced with a $10 Fee (as the Take Away Kit has a $10 design fee included).

 

Other Classes

We also run card making workshops as well as other Off the Page projects such as tags, mini albums, frames, canvases etc. Step-by-step instruction as well as a base kit is provided for these classes.

Bookings & Cancellations

To book a class you may book casually from week to week, subject to availability, or you may like to secure your place with a Block Booking. Block Bookings are designed for people who wish to attend classes on a weekly basis throughout the calendar.

We take the view that if you have booked into and paid for a class, you intend to complete that layout even in the event you are unable to attend on the day. Therefore class fees are non-refundable, however as you have paid for your class booking, this payment secures you a base kit for the class. If you would like to come along on another day within that calendar, you are welcome to ring on the morning of your choice to check availability. We are happy to accommodate you if we have a place. Alternatively you may like to complete your layout at home.
If you prefer not to book and pay in advance you are welcome to take the option of simply ringing on the morning of your choice to check availability for that day and come along.

Colour Choice

If you would like us to assist you with colour selection for a class, you are required to leave your photos at the studio 1 week in advance. This helps us to start on time and keep the class running smoothly and to time.
We are also very happy to help select colours & papers for your photos which may not be for a class. We will try to do this at the time, however if we are busy we may ask that you leave these with us to do at a quieter time.
